The curious paradox is that when I accept
myself just as I am, then I can change.

I am a clinical psychologist working with adults both in private practice and community health care settings.
I value the individuality and experience of every client that walks through my door and consider it a privilege to provide quality psychological care for all clients, regardless of age, weight, ability, race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity or sexual orientation. I genuinely believe that all behaviour makes sense once we know enough about the individual. I seek to hear my clients' stories and understand how their experiences have shaped their lives. Together we work as a team in a non-judgmental and compassionate manner to identify and achieve meaningful goals.
In my personal time you can find me devouring podcasts and audiobooks, soothing my nervous system in nature, laughing with friends and family, walking (usually in the direction of my nearest barista) and caring for two tiny humans.
my Services
treatment approach
I use an integrated and evidence based approach, incorporating elements of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), polyvagal theory and attachment theory to support clients in a tailored way.
treatment duration
All therapy appointments are 50 minutes in length
Treatment length and frequency of sessions will vary depending on individual client needs and goals.
fees
All therapy options incur the same fee structure:
General Rate: $245 per session
Concession Rate: $215 per session
After-Hour Rate (5pm or later): $255 per session
These fees are applicable from 1 February 2023 and are subject to change.
Medicare rebates of $136.35 are available with a GP Mental Health Care plan and provide up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
Alternatively, some private health care funds will also cover a portion of the fee, however this will depend on your individual fund and plan.

limitations
I am not currently able to treat acute suicidality, eating disorders, domestic abuse or substance use as these difficulties require specialised services outside of my expertise.
Face-to-Face Therapy
I offer individual therapy sessions in the privacy and comfort of my consulting rooms in Parkside, South Australia. Rooms are best accessed via Unley Road.
Telehealth
Telehealth consults are also available for individual therapy. This can be accessed from anywhere within Australia with internet access. The telehealth platform used ensures security and privacy.
Shoulder-to-Shoulder Therapy
I also offer individual therapy sessions outside while walking or spending time in nature. There are numerous benefits to incoproating nature and movement into therapy and for some this is a more comfortable way to speak about difficult topics.
